Northern Oregon Regional Corrections

Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facilities (NORCOR) is a regional adult corrections and juvenile detention complex located in The Dalles that serves four counties - Wasco, Sherman, Gilliam, and Hood River. It is one of the first jails to be formed as a merger of four county jail systems. NORCOR houses both juveniles and adult inmates and books approximately 2,800 inmates per year. NORCOR also has contracts with Benton County and the U.S. Marshals Service.
